Scholarship Program for Poor Meritorious Students

The Scholarship Program enables underprivileged youth to attend school despite their financial restrictions.  At a low cost of $75 per year, this program provides tuition, exam fees, school supplies i.e. books, pens/pencils, a school bag and uniform. Through this program, students are provided with everything needed to attend school and work towards their vocational aspirations.

SHEBI started this program with 10 students with plans to increase this number. All students are monitored regularly to ensure that they remain diligent in their schoolwork.  This program  reduces school drop-out rate, which is currently quite high in Bangladesh.
